6 days from Marrakech. We will warmly welcome you to get to know you and welcome you to our charming country, which we proudly will be happy to show you and share with you the good and the bad of it. Once we have gotten to know each other, you will head to your accommodation to relax and spend a free night dedicated to exploring the city.
A day dedicated to Marrakech, an ancient imperial city. We will discover the majestic silhouette of the Koutoubia dominating the red houses and the Saadian tombs.
Next, we will visit the Bahia Palace, home to the museum of the great vizier Ba Ahmed, and the Dar Si-Said museum, an old house of the vizier’s brother, transformed into a Museum of Fine Arts.
We will also visit the Majorelle Garden. Continuing to the Jemaa el Fna square, the lively heart of the city, the dyers’ souk, and other areas.
We will begin our 6-day tour from Marrakech towards the southeast. We will cross the Tizi N-Tichka pass. It is a beautiful and impressive panoramic view, offering us rich opportunities to take fabulous and memorable photos.
Additionally, we will continue our journey to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which is one of the most exotic and best-preserved Kasbahs in the entire Atlas region.
After having lunch in the Kasbah, we will tour this historic castle to discover its landscapes and then continue our route towards Nighte in the Todra Valley.
In the morning, we will head towards our next accommodation to take a walk in the Moroccan desert in its usual life.
Since we will pass through countless villages scattered along the road, visiting a creative Berber family, observing how tools are created in Berber societies. You can notice that women are the most important members of Amazigh families.
Next, we will continue the journey through the desert via Erfoud. After a cup of tea at the hotel, you will prepare for your camel ride to the desert camp, enjoying the moment of sunset and sleeping in tents.
After a delicious breakfast, we will head to the village of Khamlia, where you will be fascinated by the authentic gnawa rhythms. Next, we will deviate from the usual route to explore the dunes by an unpaved road and make a stop to have tea with the nomads in traditional Berber tents.
This immersive experience offers a glimpse into a different lifestyle, and you will have the opportunity to have a Berber pizza for lunch. In the late afternoon, you will prepare for an extraordinary camel ride to the heart of the dunes to witness the spectacular sunset before resting in the hotel.
Upon arrival at the camp, you will be welcomed with mint tea before heading to your comfortable tent, complete with bathroom and shower, while the Sahara illuminates its impressive night colors. A musical performance by the group around the fire enriches the charm of the night in the desert while you dine.
We leave the desert after breakfast to explore the city of Rissani, the ancient metropolis of Tafilalet. Rissani remains an important commercial center of the region, with an expanding souk bustling on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. We will head to Erfoud, where we will visit one of the fossilized marble workshops, after a leisurely walk in the Rissani souk.
Next, we will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley while driving along the Ziz River. Free time for lunch in Midelt. Next, we will head to the Cedars Forest, home to Barbary macaques. Do not hesitate to feed them while exploring the forest.
Next, we will cross Ifrane, famous for its alpine-style houses, snow, and low temperatures. It’s not surprising that it is known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Your accommodation in Fez is the destination of the 6-day tour from Marrakech where we will deliver you.
